Living in the Moment

Can’t believe another month has flown by!  Today is Patchy’s 7 month ampuversary:) As you can see from the pictures he is still a very happy boy and doing so well.

We are so grateful for another month filled with memories with him; rides to the forest in the jeep, burgers from McDonalds, Milk Shakes and Tacos  and of course oh so many belly rubs and face kisses 🙂

Thanks for being my support, I truly love all of you! Thanks for celebrating with us!

My dear sweet Patchy, you rock!  I love you so much!!!!

 

 

Sunday we celebrated a very special mile stone with Sweet Patchy.  6 months since his amputation!  We are so delighted that we still have him with us and that he is happy and doing quite well.

We spent the day smothering him with smooshy kisses and many belly rubs.

Lots of special treats were to be had starting with his usual eggs for breakfast 🙂  Dinner was sirloin steak smothered with sautéed mushrooms!  Desert was a yummy blueberry banana pawcake  (found the recipe here on tripawds :)) with some melted butter on top and of course a dollop of whipped cream.

We are so proud of him!  What a great joy he is to our lives.  Thanks to all our friends for the support and encouragement here on the site.  We love you all!  We remain “Living in the Moment” Summer, Patchy and Pack 🙂

We loaded everyone up last Friday for 4 days of camping in the pines.  What fun it is for us to take everyone out for a few days so they can roam around, sniff new smells and of course take lots of naps 🙂

Patchy was very busy during our stay, he took many short hopping adventures as well as went with the whole gang to chase a group of cows away from the campsite 🙂

He is such a trooper and continues to be happy!  We are so grateful for each moment we share with him and every memory we get to make with him.

We never pass up a belly rub or snuggle or the opportunity to just sit and be with him.

Tomorrow will be Sweet Baby Patchy’s ampuversay!  So very proud of him and the way he continues to bring us such happiness.  Tomorrow will be a day spent giving many belly rubs and special treats.  He truly is a trooper and we are thankful for each moment with him:)
